Five Steps To Make Law Of Attraction Work For You
The Law of Attraction and The Secret – Five Steps to Making It Work for You!
Maybe you heard about it from a friend or saw it on Oprah, but The Secret is taking the world by storm, one person at a time. The film was fantastic, even inspirational, yet it left me with a lot of unanswered issues.
In what ways do I apply the Law of Attraction in my daily life?
Do regular people get outcomes, and if so, how?
Let’s have a look at the five steps to attracting people. These are the steps that makeup using the Law of Attraction, which you can begin using in your life right now.
While the Law of Attraction is a simple concept, there is information that can help each phase run more smoothly and get you closer to the goals that you wish to have in your life
So, let’s get started! The following are the five steps of attraction:
- Make a list of what you don’t want.
- Make a list of things you DO desire.
- Request it
- Allow it to happen.
- Accept it, enjoy it, and be grateful for it.
I’ll go through each of these briefly and provide some examples.
The first step is to figure out what you don’t want.
While this may seem self-evident and not even worth noting, I believe that many people have not even allowed themselves the luxury of recognizing what they don’t want.
There are several causes for this, but the most common one is the notion that individuals have no control over their surroundings. Life happens, and they must cope with the cards that have been dealt to them. This is what it means to live a life by default.
Whether they wanted it or not, these people have been following someone else’s agenda instead of their own. You may not be this person, but I’m sure you know a lot of people who are.
People who live by default should start by figuring out what they don’t desire. They’ve been living their lives according to the agendas of others, and now it’s time to figure out what truly matters to them.
I was an ardent people-pleaser in a prior life, not an earlier lifetime, but in early life, and everything I chose to do was based on what others wanted. As a result, I became increasingly disconnected from my desires. I’d drawn myself into relationships, employment, and other situations that didn’t work out in the long run.
Because I was always giving, when I needed anything from others, they weren’t willing to offer it to me. Does this ring a bell? This is something that all mothers are known for!
Anyway, the first thing I had to do was reacquaint myself with myself, learning what I didn’t like, what I did enjoy, and what was essential to me, which began to resemble nothing like the life I had previously lived.
The next stage is to figure out what you DO want.
This is a natural progression from the first step. This, however, is critical! For individuals who have been living life by default, this is a huge step forward. WOW!!! What am I capable of in my life? ‘What would you do, be, or have if you knew you couldn’t fail?’ is the finest question I can think of. Leave the ‘ya-buts’ behind! BUT WHAT IF!?
What if this turned out to be true? (It is true, by the way, but it is a concept that most of us struggle with.) In any case, start making a list of everything you want to accomplish, be, or have. Very effective!
As a result, the third step is to ask for it.
The two levels of attraction – automated and active – are positioned at this step. ‘Ask and you shall receive’ or ‘Ask and it is already given’ are phrases we’ve all heard, but do we believe them? For the most part, our experiences do not reflect this stage in its actuality for the majority of us. However, you must request it. It’s yours to name and claim.
Make a list of your objectives. Think about what you desire. Consider it. Make a wish for it. Every one of these activities amounts to the same thing: a request. By concentrating on something, you are requesting it. Thank you, God, for the lag time!
We sometimes ask for something we don’t really want, and the lag time comes to our rescue! Wherever the attention is, energy flows. Wherever your thoughts go, so does the energy of the Universe, God, or whatever Supreme Being you believe in. You are inquiring about each idea. What have you been requesting recently?
The fourth stage is to let it go.
Sorry to tell you, but I feel this is the point when we get the most confused. Allowing something to happen implies that you expect it to happen. You never have any doubts about where it is. You have a feeling it’s on its way. You believe in yourself. It’s a done deal, you know.
Most of us, on the other hand, inquire and then wonder where ‘IT’ is. This is where the ‘wall’ can be found. Each thought and feeling that questions, “Where is it?” raises the barrier between ourselves and what we seek. Allowing it allows us to preserve our thoughts as pure positive energy moving in the direction of certainty.
The fifth stage is to accept ‘IT,’ enjoy ‘IT,’ and be grateful for ‘IT!’
As strange as it may seem to some of you, we occasionally forget sections of this process. I AM AWARE! Is that even possible? We’ve been waiting, longing, wanting, and hoping for something, and then it appears, and we’re not even conscious we asked for it. How is that possible? …..you say. I believe this occurs primarily because we do not give ourselves credit for our contributions to the co-creative process.
We just think it’s a coincidence that we found that perfect outfit ON SALE, or that great parking spot, or that you were just in the right place at the right time to get that job, or that you had to stay late and then got stuck in a traffic jam due to a traffic accident that occurred around the time you were supposed to leave for home WHAT!!!? (Aren’t you continually asking for your well-being and a safe journey home?) That’s right, enjoy it when things take longer than normal – you never know what dreadful horrors you’re escaping by waiting in that stupid line.
These are just a few examples of how we fail to recognize our role in the attraction process. If you start paying attention, I’m sure you’ll notice examples all around you.
Now that you know the basics, you may begin applying the Law of Attraction in your daily life. The Law that was depicted in the film ‘The Secret,’ which was broadcast on Oprah in February 2007.
I want you to take note of where you are and where you get stuck the most when it comes to attracting what you desire into your life.
Everything is possible when you have faith. Nothing is beyond the universe’s ability to do. If you make your request known without reservation, it can be fulfilled. Faith is just believing something is true despite your other senses telling you otherwise.
